The ISIS and their brutal killings

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a Jihadist militant group in Iraq and Syria influenced by the Wahhabi movement.[1] Their goal is restore the “caliphate” across the Middle East.[2] A caliphate is an Islamic state under the rule of a community of religious scholars guided by a supreme leader, the caliph or khalifah, which is generally taken to mean the successor to the Prophet Muhammad.[3] ISIS members believe that the world’s Muslims should live under one Islamic state ruled by Sharia law.[4]

According to several reports, ISIS activities include beheadings, massacres of prisoners, and attempts to exterminate Christian communities. Last year, several people from various countries were beheaded by the ISIS. Beheading videos were posted in social media. Among people beheaded were Syrian soldiers[5], an American freelance journalist, James Foley[6], Ali al-Sayyed[7] and others. Islamic State members of Falluja killed 150 women and underage girls that refused to perform sexual acts for fighters. They murdered the women and girls, including pregnant women, and then bury the victims in large mass grave in the city.[8] The latest news from the Middle East is the released video allegedly showing the Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh deliberately burned alive in a cage by his captors.[9]

The brutal killings of ISIS are very serious problems in the world today. It must be resolved immediately in order to avoid death of several innocent people. In my opinion, these members of ISIS should be punished for their terrifying acts. I personally don’t know ISIS and what are they fighting for but for me, everything can be done in a nice way. They should not involve the innocent people in achieving what they really want. I hope this issues will be end soon so that our country will live peacefully and no more life will be taken. Violence can never solve any problems. It only makes the problems worst.
